"Maricopa County provides a number of critical services to residents of the Town of Paradise Valley. The Town spans two County districts and they are a critical partner in regional matters and multi-jurisdictional planning activities," says Paradise Valley Mayor Michael Collins.

"Paradise Valley has two county islands within its boundary: the residential subdivision of Clearwater Hills just west of Tatum, and the Franciscan Renewal Center located along Lincoln Drive. Most Paradise Valley residents don't realize that intergovernmental cooperation with the County is important for day-to-day Town operations.

Working cooperatively with the County is also important for the limited government model we have in Paradise Valley. It helps ensure no unnecessary duplication of services and lets Paradise Valley focus on what's important: its residents.

I am proud to have worked with both Supervisor Kunasek and Chairman Chucri during my tenure as Mayor solving real problems that matter to residents. I am even more proud to call them both my friends. Paradise Valley residents are fortunate to have such great elected leaders representing us at the County level and I am honored to have their support."
